PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a structure for securing the restraint of a loop-form steel rod end part by facilitating mounting and removal of a loop-form steel rod damper. SOLUTION: Each loop-form steel rod 1' has two ends processed into a flat rectangular shape and is provided with a bolt hole. To a fixing plate 2 installed on the foundation, a metal fixture 8' is welded in a position confronting the two side faces of the rectangular part with a certain spacing reserved to allow the rectangular part to slip out completely when the steel rod 1' moved horizontally without rotating when the steel rod 1' inserted between a structure concerned and the fixing plate 2 and fastened to the plate 2 by a bolt 5 or the steel rod 1' is removed by loosening the bolt 5, and therein a filler 10' is inserted in the gap W' between the rectangular part 1a of the rod 1' and the metal fixture 8' and secured mechanically.
