PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To make lubrication performance favorable by forming the retainers of a rolling bearing out of compact of a fibrous oil-permeable material- containing synthetic resin as a main component and oil retaining resin composition addedly mixed with lubricating oil. SOLUTION: Retainers 8, 9 of a rolling bearing are formed out of compact of a fibrous oil-permeable material-containing synthetic resin as a main component and oil retaining resin composition addedly mixed with lubricating oil. For the oil retaining resin composition constituting the retainers 8, 9 oil retaining resin composition constituted of 40-94 wt.% a synthetic resin, 1-40 wt.%, fibrous oil permeable material, and 5-30 wt.% lubricating oil of can be adopted. For the fibrous oil permeable material, oil permeable material- constituted of soild fiber or hollow fiber can be adopted. By this constitution, lubricating oil existing inside the retainers 8, 9 passes through the surface of solid fiber as permeable material, or the hollow part of the hollow fiber and the fiber surface, exudes on the surface of the retainer at stable speed for a long term, and hence favorable lubrication characteristic is provided. |
