PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent seizure, etc., on a transmission by preventing falling or burrs produced at the time of recessing to a friction surface. SOLUTION: This synchronizer ring 1 is constituted by providing an end groove 7 vertical with the axial direction on one end of a friction surface in the axial direction and providing a screw groove 6 on the other end side of this end groove 7 and is devised to cross the end groove 7 and the screw groove 6 with each other. As a burr 8b is produced on a crossing part of the end groove 7 and the screw groove 6 and no burr is exposed on an end part of the friction surface 4, it is possible to prevent falling of the burr.
