PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a pump unit for auxiliary pressurization capable of achieving the optimum ability to an automatic fire extinguishing facility. SOLUTION: For a pump unit for auxiliary pressurization, a frame 1 with an upper opening covered with a priming tank 2 installed at an upper part, with a side opening covered with a protective plate 3, and with a closed pump chamber 5 inside formed is used. A structure with a power-driven plunger pump 6 in the pump chamber 5 included through a vibration-proofing rubber 7 is employed, thereby water can be fed to an automatic fire extinguishing facility under pressure by means of the plunger pump 6 achieving a high efficiency and a high head.
