PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent the erroneous operation in performing photographing while keeping a filter inserted in a photographing mode without the need of the filter by reporting the discharge of the filter to a photographer. SOLUTION: A filter insertion/detachment operation display instruction part 22 updates internal data corresponding to the contents of received information in the case of receiving the information that respectively detected or stored data are changed from one of an exciter filter detection part 23, a barrier filter detection part 24 and a mode storage part 21. When one of an exciter filter and a barrier filter is inserted as the result of updating, whether or not a mode is a color photographing mode is judged, and in the case of matching with the condition, a filter discharge operation is instructed to a character display instruction part 25. The character display instruction part 25 which receives an instruction displays a message on a television monitor 26.
