PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a fish roaster wherein a fish can be automatically roasted in the same manner even if the fish differs in kinds, quantities or dimensions. SOLUTION: The fish roaster comprises a cooking cabinet 1 for heating and cooking, a grill 15 on which a fish is placed, an upper heating unit 2 located above the grill 15, a lower heating unit 3 located under the grill 15, a temperature sensing means 5 to sense the temperature within the cabinet 1, a cooking menu setting means 6 to set a cooking menu, and a control means 7 to control the units 2 and 3, and the lower heating unit 3 is first energized and then the upper heating unit is energized. At that amount, the time it takes for the temperature in the cabinet 1 to reach a decision temperature T1, at which the unit 3 which is first energized according to a menu set by the means 6 is turned off, is sensed as a sensing time t0 to decide a cooking remaining time t1 after the sensing time t0.
