A plastics panel, intended for use as a surface covering for building structures, comprises strips 3, broad in comparison with the thickness of the panel, cut out of the back surface of the panel with one longitudinal edge remaining firmly attached to the panel, the strips being raised at an angle to the panel. The strips 3 may be formed in pairs having their free edges directed towards each other. Sets of strips may intersect to produce a series of cup-like structures on the panel, Fig. 3 (not shown). The panels may be used as permanent shuttering for concrete structures with the strips 3 serving to key with the concrete. The panels may be pressed into mortar. |
