PURPOSE: A slant typed seat is provided to smoothly adjust the slant angle of a seat back and to effectively absorb impact energy. CONSTITUTION: A slant typed seat(S1) contains a seat cushion(2) and a seat back(4) that is installed to be turned on the seat cushion via a slant typed mechanism(R). Each seat cushion and seat back have a seat cushion frame and a seat back frame. The slant typed mechanism contains many links(6,8,10) that connect the seat back to be turned on the seat cushion. The link has an inner saw tooth(8a) butted with an outer saw tooth(18a) that is formed on the rod as the rotating center of the mechanism. A sector gear(26) is inserted between two bearing tub rings(22,24) placed on each side face of the sector gear.
