PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To improve a watertight property inside a case wherein battery cells are received and mounting workability of the battery cells into the case. SOLUTION: Multiple cylindrical battery cells 27 are received in series in a cylindrical battery receiving space 31a in a case 29 made of an extruded aluminum. Terminal covers 51 each provided with a bus bar 55 are mounted to openings at both ends of the case 29. For each of the battery cells 27, a terminal 27a used as a fitting protrusion is fitted to a fitting hole 59a of the bus bar 55 and a terminal 27b provided with a fitting hole 27c on the opposite side is fitted to the terminal 27a of another battery cell 27. By such fitting of the fitting protrusion to the fitting hole, multiple battery cells 27 are brought into electrical connection with one another between the bus bars 55 on both the ends.
