PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To realize extension of a communication range at a low cost. SOLUTION: In the method for collecting terminal data that uses an AC power line for a transmission line and collects terminal data from pluralities of terminals for a repeater, when terminal data sent from a 1st terminal 1b cannot be received by a repeater 3a (case A), a 2nd terminal 1a placed between the 1st terminal and the repeater receives the terminal data sent from the 1st terminal and stores the data and the terminal data are sent to the repeater, and in the case that the 1st terminal does not respond to a signal from the repeater (case B), the repeater allows the 2nd terminal to transmit a signal to the 1st terminal on behalf of the 1st terminal.
