PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To correctly judge a gas leak without being influenced by disturbing factors such as a temperature change or the like by measuring, recording and outputting a pressure and an instantaneous flow velocity of a gas corresponding to the same time axis by a sensor disposed to a gas feed piping. SOLUTION: A pressure sensor 3 and an instantaneous flow rate sensor 4 are set in the middle of a gas feed piping 2. A pressure and an instantaneous flow rate of a gas 1 are measured at a predetermined time interval (cycle). Both data are combined with measurement time data into one set and stored in a data memory means 103. Data falling within a time section corresponding to a read command are output from an output means 104 in response to the read command. Based on the output data, changes for every moment of the instantaneous flow rate data and pressure data are displayed as a graph using the same time axis to a data-displaying means 105 and printed out by a data- printing means 106. At the same time, a leak of the gas 1 is judged on the basis of these data, and an integrated quantity of the lost gas because of the leak is displayed and printed out.
