BUS/STAR CONNECTION CHANGEOVER DEVICE

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide the line changeover device that makes the changeover between bus connection and star connection of a communication cable that are wired in advance to connect a plurality of information terminals. SOLUTION: The changeover device is provided with a branch distribution board 1 provided with a line controller 10, a plurality of terminal connection ports 5 that connect with the branch distribution board 1 with signal cables having same number of outgoing cores and incoming cores, a patch cord connection port 21 provided with outgoing contacts and incoming contacts connected to the ends of each signal cable at the side of the branch distribution board, a 1st patch cord 23 that interconnects one to one a star connection port 15 of the line controller 10 and the patch cord connection port 21, and a 2nd patch cord 24 that connects a bus connection port 14 of the line controller to the outgoing contacts of the patch cord connection port, connects the incoming contacts of the patch cord connection port to the outgoing contacts of the other patch cord connection port and connects the incoming contacts of the patch cord connection port to a patch cord connection port 22 with which a terminal resistor connects.
