PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To list correct word candidates even when the spelling of foreign language is wrong due to its vocal sound, and to indicate possibility that the spelling is wrong even when the spelling of another word is accidentally obtained. SOLUTION: A Japanese notation and foreign language spelling converting part 3 decomposes KATAKANA (square form of Japanese syllabary) notation words inputted to an inputting part 1 by pronunciation units, and synthesizes the spelling of the foreign language word candidates corresponding to the KATAKANA notation by referring to the knowledge of a Japanese notation and foreign language spelling corresponding data part 2. A foreign language word judging part 5 judges whether or not each candidate of the synthesized foreign words exists as a word by referring to the foreign language dictionary 4. When the candidate whose existence is judged is displayed on a displaying part 6. |
