The positioning and centering system of the floppy disc drive has magnetically operated drive arm (16) that moves in a guide on the rotor (11). The arm has a pair of shaped ends (19,20) that locate in the locating spigot (2) that fits in the hole (25) in the disc.This provides correct centering of the disc with the axis of rotation.
