New family of microporous germanates. A new family of microporous germanates: - M2Ge7O15(M=Li+, Na+, K+, Rb+, Cs+, H+ and HN4+) or - MGe7O15(M=B2+, Mg2+, Ca2+, Sr2+, Ba2+, Ra2+) or - M2Ge7O15(M=Rare earth 3+). This is a new family which has applications as a catalyst, as an ion exchange material and in molecular sieves or filters and absorbents.
