PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To structurally simplify equipment and making it low-priced and suitable for transportation by providing main/auxiliary scraper arms each with a main scraper and an auxiliary scraper and forming both the main/auxiliary scraper arms each of linear members. SOLUTION: A main scraper arm 3 is provided with a long fitting plate 5 fixed along the bottom part thereof, and is fitted with a main scraper 6 through the fitting plate 5. The main scraper 6 consists of a rubber plate, and the lower part thereof is formed like a shape of strips on by suitable slits 7 so that it can easily goes over a scum removing device by elastic deformation. Furthermore, the main scraper 6 has the end thereof positioned a fixed distance from the inner surface of the circular arc part of a peripheral wall 8 of the sedimentation basin. An auxiliary scraper arm 15 is provided with a fitting plate 16 on the bottom surface thereof, and is provided with an auxiliary scraper 17 therethrough. The auxiliary scraper arm 17 is so short that it circulates with the outer end thereof always being on this side of the peripheral wall 8. By the constitution thus simplified, the equipment can be made low-priced.
