PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To enhance the constructing property by sectionally arranging a hori zontal joint member in a horizontal joint part adjacent to a reinforcing metal plate arranged extending over the whole length of a vertical joint part, and engagingly holding the horizontal joint member by the reinforcing metal plate through a metallic holding member. SOLUTION: A reinforcing metal plate 2 covered with a seal member is stood linearly on a lower frame 5 at equal intervals in conformation to each vertical joint part, and a metallic holding member 4 is inserted to the position corresponding to the horizontal joint part of each metal plate 2. A spacer 6 is fitted to the recessed groove 5a of the lower frame 5. A horizontal joint member 3 is engaged with the holding member 4 so as to be held by the metal plate 2, and also fitted to the recessed groove 6a of the spacer 6. Further, a glass block 1 is put on the horizontal joint member 3 through an adhesive 9, and the horizontal joint member 3 and the glass block 1 are alternately placed to construct a glass block constructed body of a prescribed number of steps. According to this, the constructing property can be enhanced.
