PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a glass roving packaging body which does not contaminate the environment in burning a heat shrink film after taking out all glass roving, uses neither an adhesive agent nor an adhesive film, and which prevents the glass roving from sliding down in the heat shrink film. SOLUTION: Because the coefficient of dynamic friction of the bag shape heat shrink film 10 of this glass roving packaging body is between 0.1 and 0.7, even when delivered to the outmost layer of a glass fiber bundle body 11, a glass roving touching the inner face of the heat shrink film 10 does not slip off downward and can be prevented from sliding down in the heat shrink film 10.
