PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an automobile seat device holding stable comfortableness and sitting posture by preventing looseness of lock mechanism of a seat back while dispensing with complicated forward tilting operation. SOLUTION: One end of a hinge plate 10 is rotatably connected to a seat cushion 3 disposed on a floor, by a first hinge member 14, and a seat back 4 is connected in a relatively rotatable state to the other end of the hinge plate 10 by a second hinge member 15. In such an automobile seat device, the seat back 4 is provided with an engaging recessed part 23, and a lock lever 20 engaged with the engaging recessed part 23 to impede the rotation of the seat back 4 around the second hinge member 15 is journalled to the hinge plate 10. A cam plate 25 is disposed at the seat cuhsion 3, and an arm 26 oscillated along the cam plate 25 is journalled to the hinge plate 10. The arm 26 and the lock lever 20 are connected by a link 30 so as to release the engagement of the lock lever 20 when the seat back 4 is rotated forward around the first hinge member 14.
