CROSS-SECTIONAL POLYESTER COMPOSITE YARN

摘要

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain a cross-sectional polyester composite yarn capable of affording fabrics imparted with stretchability and firm texture after heat-treated without impairing cotton touch feel as dry touch feel inherent in flat cross-sectional yarn. SOLUTION: This cross-sectional polyester composite yarn in a combined filament yarn composed of non-crimped yarn with latent crimp performance and crimped yarn where, on any cross section, the average porosity of the hollow filaments stands at 5-20%; wherein the crimped yarn has 40-85 wt.% of filaments each >=2.0 in cross section flatness.
