PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To lessen a trouble and cost by driving a supply means of a charging hopper ahead of driving again the supply means when a detected load current value of a rice mill motor detects a no-load current value of the rice mill during an elapse of a specific stop time after stopping a drive of the supply means. SOLUTION: A grain of a hopper 5 is taken in by driving a supply screw 7, supply to a rice mill 16 is started, and when a specific time has elapsed, the drive of the supply screw 7 is stopped. Then, when a specific time is judged to have passed, the supply screw 7 is driven again for a specific time and the supply of the grain is started. Further, in the case where a specific time has not elapsed from stop of the driving, a load current value of the rice mill motor is detected by a rice mill load current sensor, compared with a no-load reference value wherein rice milling is not executed, and in the case where the rice milling operation is judged not to be ended, judging whether a specific time has elapsed or not is again repeated. Further, in the case where the rice milling operation has been ended the supply screw 7 is again driven for a specific time.
