PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a gaseous nitrogen generator for machine tool, in which heat radiation from the side face of a generator box body is restrained to the utmost. SOLUTION: In this gaseous nitrogen generator 100 for separating and extracting, by a filter element or the like, only a gaseous nitrogen component N from compressed air E abstained by compressing the atmospheric air e, the filter element or the like is arranged inside a box body 20, and also in the lower part 20A of the box body 20, an intake 20B for the atmospheric air is formed, and in a ceiling part 20C of the box body 20, a discharge port 20D for discharging heated air e' in the box body 20 is formed, and the box body 20 is provided with an outer box body 25 for forming a proper gap x between it and the outer periphery of the box body 20. In this way, heat radiation from the side face of the box body 20 of the gaseous nitrogen generator 100 is restrained to the utmost.
