The device (100) comprises a housing having an interior with a first dielectric material. A sinuous rod forming a handle has an end extending from the interior of the housing and out a rear end of the housing. The housing and the handle are constructed such that the device reacts to a unique non-uniform electric field squared spatial gradient three-dimensional pattern exhibited by the entity to produce a dielectrophoretic force and a quantifiable manifestation of the force on the device that indicates a specific direction relative to the entity. The housing includes a cavity in the first dielectric material. The cavity is filled with a second dielectric material. The device further comprises an elongated antenna having an end extending from the interior of the housing and out a front end of the housing. The two dielectric materials are both disposed in contact with the end of the elongated antenna and the end of the sinuous rod. |
