PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a lens barrel whose entire length is made compact in the lens barrel of an inner-focus system using an oscillatory wave motor. SOLUTION: This lens barrel is composed of the output ring 11 of the oscillatory wave motor where a spring 4 to press and bring a stator 20 into contact, a vibration absorbing body 19 to absorb vibration, the stator 20 and a rotor 21 are orderly arranged from a front side and a rotary shaft 10 orthogonal with the optical axis of a lens is fixed, a rotary transmission member with a gear 9 rotating around the rotary shaft 10, the spring 4 pressing and bringing the rotary transmission member with the gear 9 into contact with a focus ring 6, a lens barrel chamber 30 rotatable with respect to the fixed barrel 24 of the lens barrel and a scale lever 16 for linking the rotary transmission member with the member 9 and a lens moving ring 23.
