PURPOSE: The invention relates to a new conjugate of peptide having 3 to 12 amino acids residues and lipophilic region exist able at N- or C-terminus of the peptide. In addition, the invention relates to pharmaceutical composition containing the new conjugate usable for the treatment of impotence of male and nervous degeneration diseases. CONSTITUTION: The invention is based on the discovery that short fragments of VIP or modified VIP conjugated to lipophilic region, having 3 to 12 amino acids residues, have physiological activity in the field of the treatment of impotence of male and nervous degeneration diseases. Also the invention relates to short cyclic peptides of VIP or modified VIP conjugated to lipophilic region, featuring in having relatively modification preventing properties in addition to the advantages.
