PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To simplify database construction work. SOLUTION: An environment file describing the name of CAD and the combination of extenders is stored in a storage means 11 and when activating a system, the stored environment file is read and interpreted by a file interpretation means 12. An operator designates the name of CAD in a menu constituting means 13 through a menu designating means 14 and selects the part of a file name. After the name of CAD designated by the menu designating means 14 is combined with any extender, the file name is prepared by a file name preparing means 15. The prepared file name is registered through a file input/output means 16 by a data base registering means 17 and the registered file is constructed by a database constructing means 18.
