PURPOSE: Triphenylamine derivatives and an organic electroluminescence device using those are provided, which have a good heat-resistance and a high efficiency of luminescence. CONSTITUTION: The triphenylamine derivatives are represented by the general formula 1, wherein R¬1, R¬2, R¬3, R¬4, R¬5 and R¬6 are independently a hydrogen atom, a halogenated alkyl group, an aryl group, a dialkylamine group or a cyano group, and phi¬1 and phi¬2 represent an aromatic condensed ring with or without a substituent. The organic electroluminescence device comprises a cathode, an anode, and a single or multiple organic layers inserted between the two electrodes, and at least one among the organic layers contains the triphenylamine of the general formula 1 as a hole carrier. The layer which contains the triphenylamine of the general formula 1 can also contain one or more fluorescent dyes, and the device can further contain a layer in which 1,2,3-triazole derivatives of the general formula 2 are contained as an electron carrier. In the general formula 2, R¬7 and R¬8 are independently a cyano or amine group and n is 1 or 2.
