PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To reduce front projection while securing sealability. SOLUTION: A pushbutton device comprises a pushbutton case 1 mounted on the front of a front panel 201, an O-ring 2, a key top 3, an in-case sealing member 4, a reflector 5, a pushbutton mounting member 6 mounted on the back of the front panel 201, a substrate 7, and a substrate mounting member 8. The in-case sealing member 4 made from a semitransparent silicone resin is held in such a manner that the peripheral part of a forwardly projecting part 17 fitted into a recess part in the transmissive key top 3 is sandwiched between the pushbutton case 1 and the reflector 5, and so that the key top 3 is floated by the force of pushing it out of a pushbutton hole 10 and can be pressed inside the pushbutton hole 10. A rod-shaped switch function part and transmissive rod-shaped parts 21, 22 are extended form the back of the forwardly projecting part toward the substrate 7 having a switch circuit and a light emitting diode, and a circle is printed on the front of the forwardly projecting part from which the translucent rod-shaped part 21 is extended, and an indication 'Out Of Sale' is printed on the portion from which the transmissive rod-shaped part 22 is extended.
