PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a video conference system capable of improving the convenience of a multi-point video conference by eliminating complicated operation such as switching of a screen during a video conference among plural points. SOLUTION: This video conference system is provided with a multi-point conference device 2 that applies image compositing processing and audio compositing processing to an image signal and an audio signal outputted from each signal transmission means 11 respectively and with a changeover switch 3, that selects and outputs either of output signals from a signal transmission means 11 and the multi-point conference device 2 to a signal reception means 2 and the multi-point conference device 2, and allows a controller 1 receiving a call setup signal to control the operation of the changeover switch 3 and the multi-point conference device 2 so as to allow a monitor to make optimum split screen display in response to number of participants of video conference terminals 20-1 to 20-N. |
