PURPOSE: A method and system for administrating a remotely-proctored secure examination is provided, which controls the administration of remotely-proctored secure examination at a remote test station. CONSTITUTION: The system for administrating a remotely-proctored secure examination includes a central station (1), a registration station (2) and a remote testing station (3). The central station (1) includes a storage device (13) for storing data, which include test question data and verified biometric data, and a data processor (10), operably connected to the storage device (13), for comparing test taker biometric data with stored verified biometric data. The remote test station (3) includes a data processor (30), a data storage device (31), operably connected to the data processor (30), for storing input data, a biometric measurement device (34) for inputting test taker biometric data to the data processor (30), a display (32) for displaying test question data, an input (33) for inputting test response data to the data processor (30), a recorder (35) for recording proctoring data of a testing event, and a communication link for communicating with the central station (1). Thereby, it is possible effectively to decrease the cost of the examination and perform the remotely-proctored secure examination.
