Simultaneous propagation characteristics measurement method for mobile radio system, transmitting interlaced spectra signals from base stations and determining impulse responses in mobile receivers

During a measurement period T, each of p base stations transmits a signal of period pT, the signal emitted by the station of rank n, where n lies between 1 and p, having a spectrum of components situated at the frequencies (k/T)+((n-1)/pT), k being the number of the component. The p signals are simultaneously received in a mobile station and processed within a time window of width pT, to extract the p impulse responses of the radio channels being measured.
