PURPOSE: An apparatus and method for generating a holographic solid picture is provided, which arranges a mask having an aperture hole on an optical path of a reference light. CONSTITUTION: The apparatus for generating a holographic solid picture comprises: a laser optical source (31) for emitting a laser beam with a certain wavelength; and a shutter (32) to be arranged on an optical path of a laser beam (L1) from the laser optical source (31); and a half mirror (31), wherein the shutter (32) is controlled by a control computer (22), and is closed when a recording media (10) is not exposed and opened when a recording media (10) is exposed, and the laser optical source (31) is turned on and off when the laser optical source (31) is an optical source for emitting a laser beam, and the half mirror (31) is divided into a reference light and a object light. Thereby, it is possible to generate a holographic solid picture which can reproduce a picture with a good quality.
