PURPOSE: A process for manufacturing of optically genuine (S)-3,4-dehydroxy-buthylic acid derivative is provided, which prevents selective reduction reaction, dose not need high cost catalyst. CONSTITUTION: A manufacturing process of compound of formula as shown as (I), thereof where in R represents C1-C5 linear of branched alkyl radical, comprises following: manufacturing alpha-(1.4) oligose having preferable distribution by reacting amilopectin obtained from natural matters in the presence of catalyst under certain condition; Conducting oxidization and ether reaction continuously.
