The communication device includes a cordless telephone, a notebook display and a menu pen in a pocket-sized housing. The communication device transmits speech and data. Telephone conferences and data exchanges occur via existing telecommunication systems. The housing is split into two interconnected sections (9,10) which can be spread apart or clasped together. One section can be raised, and it is this section which serves as a display and holds the telephone and menu pen. The other section contains the keypad. The telephone is removably placed in the housing of the display section and can be used separately. The display is held in the housing by a locking mechanism. A receptacle for headphones provides the user with privacy or enables a second user to monitor the conversion. |
