PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To select a required clamping force from multiple kinds of clamping forces by freely setting the clamping forces of plural clamping arms to clamp a clamped body freely opening/closing possibly to required values. SOLUTION: A clamping device 0 is stopped at a required position and, then, an extending/contracting pipe 25 is extended. When the clamping device 0 is lowered to the lowest position, a computer transmits a reverse signal to a motor driver, inverts a clamping DC motor and blocks out the clamping arms 31. In this case, the computer calculates a current value or a voltage value for generating the set clamping force by the selective depression of plural setting pressurizing parts in a dip switch, transmits the value to the motor driver, impresses the calculated current or the calculated voltage on the clamping DC motor and permits a bonus 11 to be clamped by the prescribed clamping force.
