PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To cut the width of a specified number of panels as soon as they are taken out of a panel group to shorten a time required for the process and at the same time, reduce a space for installing a device by moving the panels in the width direction to position and cut them to the specified cut width and at the same time, moving the panels in the length direction. SOLUTION: Panels 20 are reversed horizontally one by one from a panel group placed collectively in the thickness direction, on a belt conveyor 11 set orthogonally with a roller conveyor 10. These panels are conveyed onto the belt conveyor 11 made to ascend and then are carried to a cutting device. When the panels 20 reach a positioning stopper 12a which is installed in parallel with the roller conveyor 10 and traverses, the belt conveyor 11 stops and descends to place the panels 20 on the roller conveyor 10. In this case, the positioning stopper 12a is positioned to the cut width of the panels 20. Next a saw blade 12c descends while it is rotating to cut the panels 20 fixed with a clamp 12b in the longitudinal direction.
