PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To accurately position the measurement portion of an inspected lens for precisely performing the measurement of a spectral transmission factor. SOLUTION: This transmissometer is a spectral transmissometer having a measurement optical system mounted on a body 2 and places an inspected lens 10 on a lens placement part 3 formed at a such a position as facing the optical path L of a measurement optical system for measuring the spectral transmission factor of the lens 10. In this case, the transmissometer has a lens positioning means made of an acceptance hole part formed to be located at a position surrounding the optical path L of the measurement optical system of the lens placement part 3 and at the same time to have a cylindrical projection 11a, and an annular positioning ring 25 attached on the basis of an optical information indication mark point as reference and formed to be coupled to the acceptance hole part.
