PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a sealing device contriving the improvement of workability at the time when it is removed (pulled out) from a housing. SOLUTION: A sealing device comprises guides 4 serving for positioning when mounted on a housing 10 or used, a seal lip 5 serving for sealing when pressed against an internal surface 10b of the housing 10 only near the joint between the housing 10 and a cover 20, projections 6 and 7 serving for sealing when pressed against the cover 20, a groove 8 cut between the seal lip 5 and the projection 6 to check deformation of the seal lip 5, and an elastic repulsion part 9 serving to move the sealing device toward the cover 20 by repulsive force when the cover 20 is removed away. |
