PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To rationalize a ventilating facility of a room and to reduce an installation cost by providing a vent port for inputting fresh air to communicate with a stairhole and a blow-through part at each room and a suction grill at a vertical hole ceiling. SOLUTION: In a detached house having a vertical hole, an air supply port 1 for inputting outdoor fresh air to upper and lower stair rooms, a vertical hole using ventilation passage 2, vent passages 3, 4 and a suction grill 5 provided at a vertical hole ceiling are provided. A filter is mounted in the port 1 to remove pollen, dust and the like. To ensure an exhaust passage from each room to the hole, gaps are provided at both upper and lower ends of a door as vent opening 3, 4. Further, the grill 5 is provided at the ceiling, an exhaust chamber 6 is provided in its garret, and the both are connected. In such a structure, the air of each room is naturally blown through a ridge via the hole and the grill according to a buoyancy and a wind force generated in accordance with a temperature difference in and out of the room from the ventilating opening, thereby obtaining an effective natural ventilation type house.
