PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an auxiliary cooling device and an outdoor machine having the auxiliary cooling device which can be manufactured in less-expensive manner while installing nozzles capable of sprinkling water against a plurality of curved rectangular surfaces of a heat exchanger. SOLUTION: An auxiliary cooling device 7 is provided with nozzles 4, 4 opposing against bent corner sections of a heat exchanger 6. Water is sprinkled against both side surfaces of the corner sections to cool the heat exchanger 6. Accordingly, the auxiliary cooling device 7 can be constituted of a less number of nozzles 4, 4 and further can be manufactured in a less-expensive manner. In addition, a sprinkling region of water per one nozzle 4 is widened to prevent excessive amount of water from being sprinkled at one location, the heat exchanger 6 can be cooled with a less amount of water and then its cooling capability can be improved while a consumption power is being saved.
