<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain a wave corrected timepiece capable of surveying a location a user can receive wave signal in a short time, and suppressing unnecessary power consumption. SOLUTION: Before performing initial setting of hand position in an initial correction mode, the reception state of wave signal is compared with a predetermined reference range. In the case the reception state is within a reference range, operation for resetting to zero is performed and in the case the reception state is out of the range, the zero resetting range is not performed and the state is informed by turning on a luminous element 16. A control circuit 14 decodes the received wave signal after the operation for resetting to zero, corrects the hand position to the position corresponding to the decoded time in the case time conversion is possible, and dose not correct the hand position in the case time conversion is not possible.</p> |
