PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a stock management system capable of managing articles stored in a home from any place at any time. SOLUTION: In the domestic stock management system for managing the stock of articles by transmitting/receiving stock information between a home and a visiting place through a communication means 30 is provided with bar code information acquiring means (bar code readers 40a, 40b) for acquiring bar code information and a home server 10 consisting of a CPU 11 for preparing article data by processing the bar code information, a storage means 14 for storing the article data as an article data file 14b, an input means 16 for rewriting an article data file 14b, a display means 13 for displaying the file 14b, and a transmitting/receiving means 17 connected to the means 30. Thus bar code information obtained on a visiting place is transmitted to the home server 10 and the file 14b stored in the storage means 14 of the home server 10 is acquired through the means 30 so that the stock management of articles stored in the home can be executed in both of the home and a certain visiting place. |
