摘要 PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To decrease the number of necessary capacitors if when a DC source voltage is set to a high boosting ratio when boosted by making use of a charge pump circuit. SOLUTION: A 1st boosting circuit 4 which has a charge pump circuit composed of diodes D11 to D14, capacitors C11 to C14, and semiconductor switching elements T11 to T14 boosts the output voltage of a battery 2 by about four times and outputs the boosted voltage. A 2nd boosting circuit which has a charge pump circuit composed of diodes D21 to D23, capacitors C21 to C23, semiconductor switching elements T21 to T26, etc., boosts the output voltage of the 1st boosting circuit 4 by about three times and outputs the resulting voltage. Consequently, the voltage of about 12 times as high as the output voltage of the battery 2 is applied to a driving circuit part 6 for driving a display device 1.
