A high pass filter is provided at the output of an angular velocity sensor to remove low frequency components. An integrator converts the resultant pure angular velocity signal into an angle signal. The high pass filter and the integrator are adjusted if the angular velocity exceeds a threshold, and reset when the angular velocity falls below the threshold. An Independent claim is included for an image stabilization and control device.
