PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a protection cover to prevent removal of a bolt by covering the whole of a nut for a flange coupling part or the like for an iron tower for transmission line. SOLUTION: This protection cover comprises a nut 8a for cover support and a nut 8b for cover support mounted on a bolt 6 for coupling together upper and lower flanges 2 and 4; arcuate covers 10 and 11 the ends on one side of which are intercoupled through a hinge; a support plate 13 fixed at the cover 10 and 11 and supporting the cover 10 or 11 by inserting it in a gap between the nuts 8a and 8b for cover support; and a lock shaft 16 to lock the covers 10 and 11. The whole of the nut 7 for fixing a flange on the upper surface of the upper flange 2 is covered.
