PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an environment for utilizing provided information and simultaneously timely enjoying a conversation with another user to utilize that information concerning a system for providing the multimedia information of movies or concerts in a three-dimensional(3D) shared virtual space in which plural users can talk with the other users by participating the other selves (avatar) in the 3D shared virtual space constructed on a network. SOLUTION: Concerning this information providing method, multimedia information containing audio and moving image information is stored in an information data base, the request of the desired information to retrieve is inputted from a user terminal to a computer and based on the information request inputted from the user terminal, the computer retrieves the information data base, acquires the relevant information, loads that information to the 3D shared virtual space and displays it.
