A tooth-paste composition, in solid form, for human and animal use, is characterised by the fact that it contains at least one component with an antiseptic and/or an antimicrobic quality; at least one abrasive component; at least one component which delays tartar deposition; at least one component able to attack dental plaque and which possibly has antimicrobic properties; and at least one compound as a fluorine source.
