PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a cover energizing device capable of properly performing the complete closure of a cover or the opening of the cover up to a preset position without any careful positional adjustment. SOLUTION: The first bearing stand 3 is fixed to a cover movably attached to a fixing frame body, and the second bearing stand 7 is fixed to the side wall 1a of the fixing frame body. In addition, the spring housing cylinder 4a of the first arm 4 and the spring housing cylinder 6a of the second arm 6 are connected to each other with a connecting pin 5, and the first arm 4 is connected to the first bearing stand 3 with a connecting pin 11. Also, the second arm 6 is connected to the second bearing stand 7 with a connecting pin 12, and a torsion coil spring 8 is housed in the spring housing cylinders 4a and 6a. Then, each end of the coil springs 8 is fixed to the first arm 4 and the second arm 6.
