摘要 <p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To reduce malfunction by setting an input invalidating area at the peripheral part or one part of the frame of a touch screen by an invalid area setting means. SOLUTION: When a power is supplied, an invalid area setting part 3f sets width which is almost 2 mm from the edge of a touch screen frame 7 in an input invalidating area 16 of a touch screen part 12. In a handwriting mode, only a valid area can be obtained as a handwriting input range. In a handwriting mode, when a touch screen part 12 is touched with a pen or a finger, the resistant value of a touch point is inputted to a control microcomputer 3 as a changed signal. Then, the input value is analyzed as a concrete X and Y coordinate value by a pressurization position information detecting part 3a. This touch detection situation is successively transmitted to a condition judging part 3b, and after it is confirmed that this point is within the valid area, handwritten orbit display is written in a video RAM 5 as an orbit obtained by applying arbitrary color to the touched coordinate from a handwritten orbit control part 8c, and superimposedly displayed on an LDC2.</p>
