PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To increase the concentration rate of a measuring object substance, and to quickly measure dioxin and the like of a burning incinerating process by providing a compact concentrating means capable of reliably collecting the measuring object substance at the normal temperature and capable of quickly desorbing the measuring object substance by rapid heating. SOLUTION: Three-way valves 8, 9 are arranged in front and in rear (on the upstream side and the downstream side), and piping is thinned and shortened as much as possible. When concentrating exhaust gas, the temperature is controlled between 0 to 160 deg.C, the flue side three-way valve 8 is used as a pump side passage, a laser multiple photon ionization mass spectrometer 3 side three- way valve 9 is set as a passage for exhaust gas, and an exhaust gas sample is condensed when necessary. Afterwards, one three-way valve 8 is switched to passage for applying back pressure by inert gas, and the other three-way valve 9 is switched to the device 3 side. Next, when a capillary tube 5 is set to about 300 deg.C by a heater 6, dioxin and the like is desorbed, and is introduced to an ionization chamber through a pulse valve of a device 3 to be detected by a mass spectrometer.
